As I write this, I am looking out my window at a beautiful, sunny and windy day. Never mind that the thermometer says -16 and the feels like temperature is an arctic like -42! I hope everyone is warm in their office or home as I am with some extra heat at my feet. We have been fortunate so far that our meeting night’s weather has been decent and many have been able to attend! During the well-attended January meeting, a very thorough talk on Refractory Coatings was given by Mitch Patterson of HA International and the Company of the Month (beverages) was also HA International represented by Mike Tremaine. Our thanks and appreciations go out to both gentlemen.
Our February 11, 2019 meeting brings us Gene Ritchie of Ritchie Melt Consulting and his discussion on “General Cupola Efficiency”. I expect a stellar turnout from our cupola melters and even a bigger turnout from those who are wondering what a cupola is!!!?
